AFRICAN MOSAïQUE
03/31/2020 Client: Anna Getaneh EthiopiaLogo redesign (imagotype) for a brand focused on fashion design.
The symbol in the logo was redesigned to simplify it in order to make it more readable, the font was also replaced by one with a lighter line, according to the brand (Elegance).
While the original colors where black and red, the red was replaced by a "Venice Red" color widely used in African manufacturing in terms of clothing and crafts.
The symbol is made up of an African woman's face with a hairstyle surrounding the initials of the name A and M (AFRICAN MOSAïQUE), the intention of which is that it can be applied without the name and be easily recognized as a brand.
A pattern (texture) alluding to current African textiles was created alongside.
